RAW Salon and Spa is locally owned and family operated, by Andrea and Brad Brewer. Andrea and Brad chose to open RAW in Burlington because of their commitment to the growth of downtown and their love for the quaint community in which they live. Both are passionate about supporting small businesses, and use the the ‘shop local’ concept not only personally but as a business priority. They attend and support many local organizations, businesses, and functions. Just to name a few; Burlington’s Farmers Market, B-town Sounds, Love Inc, the Joey O’Brian Foundation and many other small charitable event. During the buildout of RAW Brad and Andrea were insistent on using only local contractors and companies; Vorpagel Service Inc, B. Schneider Electric Inc, Stelling and Associates Architects, Solofra Plumbing and Heating Inc, and Paul Giaimo, Contractor.

RAW is an acronym representing a concept that is very near and dear to Andrea’s heart. In 2008 Andrea attended a 3-day, business program geared toward teaching attendees how to manage or own a salon and spa business. It had two main objectives: ‘Ready’ being the financial and technical end of the education mission, and ‘Willing’ being the emotional and professional strength to manage, coach and mentor employees. After this extremely intense 3-day course, Andrea knew her passion was to open her own salon. She knew she had the tools and knowledge to progress forward with her career. Ever since 2009, Andrea has progressively moved towards her dream, step by step. She opened RAW Salon in 2009, a quaint studio salon, also located in Burlington. Three years later she got the call that her dream space was coming available she had some big decisions to make whether or not to grow space. Remembering that ‘Ready And Willing’ was now ingrained in her blood, she knew she had to accept the offer and to move forward with her dream. ‘Ready And Willing’ is a part of Andrea’s every day spirituality. She is insistent on the name being spelled correctly, RAW Salon and Spa, because every time she sees it, types it, or thinks of it, she knows she has what she needs, not only professionally but emotionally and spiritually.

RAW Salon and Spa is also committed to protecting the Earth and lowering its footprint. Davines was chosen as the primary hair care and color product line for its parallel beliefs, packaging, and manufacturing. Davines is based out of Parma, Italy and is distributed by Salon Only Sales (SOS), in the United States. RAW also carries Sacred Nature, by Comfort Zone, as one of our skincare lines because of is organic background. We not only want the best products for our guests, but the best products for our Earth.

Beyond great hair, skin, and body care, we believe in offering the best in customer service. We do not believe that people are our clients, they are our guests.
